Why is the public being given free Boilers & Insulation?

The Energy Company Obligation (ECO), has been operating since 2013. It is part of a government scheme to reduce fuel usage and maximise energy efficiency in British homes.

The Energy Company Obligation (ECO) compels large energy providers to create substantial carbon savings by upgrading the energy efficiency of British Homes. The Energy Company Obligation (ECO) is currently in Phase 4, which started in April 2022.

The eligibility criteria, determined by Ofgem, does change over time, so if you didn't qualify in phase 3, you may be eligible in phase 4. Find out by completing our eligibility checker or contacting our office on 0333 577 5852
